💛 What are you most proud of in your shop today?
“What makes us most proud is the atmosphere we’ve created with my parents, almost without even realizing it. People come in as customers and leave calling us ‘family.’ We have over 200 5-star reviews, and every time we read one, it really touches us! It means we’ve managed to give them a little more than just a bike.”
✨What’s your secret to having such happy customers?
“Honestly, we love people, and it shows. We take the time to chat and understand what kind of experience they’re looking for: a quiet romantic stroll, a fun outing with friends, or a big group on vacation. It often starts with a morning coffee together before we head out, and we take the chance to share our favorite spots: the little neighborhood restaurant, the picnic spot with the killer view. And if something goes wrong along the way—a flat tire or a dead battery—we jump in the car. People feel like we’ve got their backs, and that’s priceless.”
🚀 Any advice for a bike rental business just starting out?
“Never overlook the personal touch. Technically, anyone can rent a bike. But what sticks in people’s minds—what makes them come back and leave a heartfelt review—is the time spent together before they set off: a smile, a cup of coffee, some good advice. You can’t plan for that—you just have to give it.”
💻 How has online booking changed things for you?
“It’s freed up our time so we can really focus on providing that warm welcome. Between 35 and 40% of our reservations are made online now, so we spend less time on the phone and more time with people—over a cup of coffee—giving them the best tips for their outing.”
