My name is Alexandra. I have been working in tourism for 20 years, and three years ago, I founded Pyrene à Vélo, a company that offers electric bike tours (mountain bikes and hybrid bikes) to explore the Béarn region. I offer unique and personalized experiences, tailored to both locals and tourists.

Tell us your story!

I am a tour guide for a tourist office in Pau, where I offer walking and bus tours. In recent years, I have felt the need to be more physically active, so I took up road cycling. I loved it! I wanted to create a business based on cycling, combining my passion for the region. I did so three years ago by creating Pyrène à vélo, which offers an in-depth discovery of Béarn, from the beautiful city of Pau to the hillsides of Jurançon, via the Ossau Valley and the Vélo Sud.

Pyrene à Vélo offers two types of services: bike rental and guided tours. With a fleet of 15 electric bikes, I deliver the bikes to various strategic locations around Pau with my truck, allowing customers to enjoy the magnificent landscapes of Béarn independently or in a guided group. I manage everything on my own and it's a side business, so I needed everything to be simple and run smoothly!
